Wow. Water is powerful!

We farm along the Grand and have seen many floods from thaw and rain (last June was something!), but this year takes the cake. This is our current lake:

Our buildings are on a hill, so we’re fine – but will have a fun cleanup when the water recedes.

We are thinking of and praying for those affected by the flood in other parts, especially those evacuated!

Stay safe – don’t go by the water, everyone!

We celebrated today by working in the barn together all day – nothing like a day off to get stuff done! Excuse the blurry photo, and I promise – we tried get the cow to look!
